PharmaGap Board of Directors Change

Ottawa, Ontario/ July 4, 2007 - PharmaGap Inc. (TSX-V: GAP) ("PharmaGap" or "the Company"), a Canadian biotechnology company developing novel compounds to treat cancer, today announced that Dr. Michael Marchand has informed the Company that he will not stand for re-election to the Company's board at the annual meeting of shareholders on July 31, 2007. Each of the other five board members will stand for re-election at the meeting.

Roderick Bryden, Chairman of the board, stated that, “The board and management of PharmaGap will miss Michaels’s counsel and judgment and wish him well in his future endeavors. With his departure, the board will continue at its current size of five. We will consider adding board members based on the availability and qualifications of candidates in the future, however we are not at the present moment actively seeking to increase the size of the board.”
