PharmaGap Inc. has developed novel drugs targeting Protein Kinase C (PKC). The Company’s pre-clinical lead drug candidate (PhGα1) is being developed to treat cancer. Aberrant over-expression of PKC is associated with many types of cancer and is a validated therapeutic target. 

PhGα1 was developed employing proprietary computer models PharmaGap researchers have developed for select PKC isoforms. PharmaGap’s computer modeling abilities are a core competency and form the basis for the Company’s intellectual property and pipeline of drug compounds targeting PKC for the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

PharmaGap is pursuing a strategy to partner its lead drug candidates at the pre-clinical or early clinical trial stage.  The Company recognizes that its strengths rest in drug design and “proof of principle” validation and that larger pharmaceutical/biotech partners have the resources necessary to move the Company’s compounds into human clinical use.
